Time and again, again and again we have squandered away all our gains achieved on battlefield on negotiation table.
Take for example,
Kashmir incursions in 1947-48, Just when Indian Army had gained momentum and was driving back tribal invaders ,Nehru went to UN and brought ceasefire.
1954 - Without getting anything in return we recognize Tibet as territory of China.
1960 - India signs Indus Water treaty giving away rights of 90% water to arch nemesis Pakistan, forgetting about the horrors of Partition in the hope to turn them into friends.
1965 - Lal Bahadur Shastri squandered away Haji Pir pass back to Pakistan during peace summit talks in Tashkent. The same Haji Pir pass is used by terrorist today. It was captured after lots of sacrifices and casualties. In-fact when Shastri called his wife from Tashkent his wife herself had expressed displeasure and told him entire country was distraught.
1971 - After momentous victory and achieving surrender from Pakistan and breaking down their ego India repatriated 93000 Pakistan's soldiers without taking back 56 of our men who were imprisioned as POW's in Pakistan's prison. Even today those 56 men are languishing in Pak jails. We had cornered Pakistan and it was under tremendous domestic pressure to get their men back. Indira Gandhi made monumental folly by repatriating 93000 POW's without anything substantial in return.
2008 - India under puppet PM Manmohan Singh did nothing after Pakistan gave us once in a millennium opportunity to remove it from earth. Even if we could have gone Nuclear ,world powers would have supported us but our PM never gave orders to retaliate.
2025 - After disastrous Pahalgam massacre were 26 men were killed in front of their family by terrorist dressed in Army fatigues by asking their religion,India finally attacked after 15 days not only on terror camps in POK but also in JEM HQ in Bawalpur killing 10 members of jihadi preacher Maulana Masood Azhar.
It took us 15 days to retaliate but as expected Pakistan attacked us very next day by firing over 500 drones directed at over 15 Indian cities. It would have been bloodbath had it not been for stupendous performance by indigenously developed AKASH surface to air missile system. If it was not for Akash missiles we would have suffered atleast 1000 casualties.
India's retaliation involved bombing of 11 Pakistan Air Force Airbase and gaining complete superiority by destroying Lahore's and Sialkot Air defense system and also shooting down of 2 PAF JF-17 jets .So what compelled India to agree to ceasefire as proclaimed by President Donald Trump over tweet that he had influenced ceasefire ,Trump was trying to find his moment of ensuring first ceasefire in his presidency like how earlier Presidents of US used to do??
Only logical reason which might have compelled India by agreeing on ceasefire when it was having upper hand would be to seek favorable terms in Trade deal with US after Trump ordered tariff war on literally every country with which it has trade which almost pretty much covers every country barring one or two. Being greatly dependent on US Economy and markets makes our hands tied.
Another reason could be paying back to Trump for his silent support in his first term when India abrogated Article 35A and Article 370.It could be our larger plan or like how they say looking at big picture allowing Trump have his moment of Glory and bolster his image in anticipation of favorable terms in soon going to be signed India-US Trade deal.
Pakistanis true to their blood attacked us again ,hours after ceasefire was agreed by both countries DGMO .They have again given us one in a millennium opportunity to finish off them for permanent. We have superiority now. It's time to Escalate and not De-Escalate.
Pakistan will again make fake promises, talk sweetly on face in world forum and study the recent
skirmish in details and close the gaps in their armor and again bleed us when it suits them.
Time and again we Indians have not learnt from history. Pakistan is nothing but radical Islamist state .Being only Islamic nuclear power in the world it's ARMY which calls the shots in every aspect of Pakistan's lives wants to keep hostilities with India forever as it suits them.They live in a fantasy world of acheving their end goal of Ghazwa-e-Hind ,"holy raid of India" or "war against India," is a phrase used by some radical Islamic groups to justify a war against India, often drawing on Islamic prophecies and hadiths. It's a narrative used to promote the idea of a final, decisive battle between Muslims and non-Muslims in the Indian subcontinent, seen as a step towards a global Islamic caliphate.
But why does India always fail in reading Pakistanis mind and their intent.
Answer lies in our culture and ethos which is responsible not only for a successful and peaceful achievements but also as much as for our destruction.
We Hindus are always taught not to wish ill things on others even when they do bad or unfair things to u. This has brought a sense of so called tolerance in Hindus. This absurdity has no limits. Take for example in recent Pahalgam massacre , Himanshi Narwal who became face of the tragedy when her distraught pic of her sitting besides her husband dead body started giving gyaan to media that was clearly misaligned with nation's sentiments.
We Hindus goes to absurd levels of showcasing our secular credentials to the world even when openly our haters show their intent openly.
Look at History,
1191 - Ghori gets defeated in battle .He flees.Prithviraj chauhan allows him to go off hook.
1192 - Ghori now smarting from defeat and better prepared returns and rest we all know is History.
February 1999 - Prime Minister AB Vajpayee peace initiative the famous bus ride to Lahore which promised a new horizon of peace
May 1999 - Kargil intrusion is discvered resulting in Kargil war. India lost 526 soldiers
To those who say don't bring 1947 back again, don't talk abt History, don't know abt one thing,
History is the mirror of future.
To all those wondering , why Pakistan is showing so much bellicosity when its economy is in doldrums. The reason lies below,
1->Pak Army of late has suffered lots of casualties in Balochistan.the recent incident of Baloch rebels hijacking train and killing scores of Pak Army men has put tremendous pressure on Pak Army.Pakistan has always falsely proclaimed India's covert support to Baloch rebels as one of the reason behind its involvement in Kashmir.
2->Because of Imran Khan brave faceoff with Army in recent past it has led large scale derating of Pak Army in their countrymen eyes. Remember people rising in mass protest, storming garrison and cantonments against their Army.
3->Pak Army chief Asim Munir is scheduled to retire later this year. Hostilities with India puts him in center stage and enables him to extend his tenure so often done by his predecessors.
4->After Trump Tariff war, India is emerging as favorable destination and looks promising as an alternative to China as worlds manufacturer. Hostilities between India and Pakistan favor China.
By agreeing to ceasefire just to please Trump as a part of larger plan as he is the President of biggest and largest economy in hopes of favorable terms in US-India trade deal we have let off hook Pakistan again without even demanding the SSG Commando who killed 26 people in Pahalgam. It was the least we should have done.
Terribly disappointed with our stupidity, our absurdity.
Harsh reality is we Indians are biggest chutiyas in the world.
Like everytime we have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
